Congressman Sali is serving his second term in the United States Congress. He represents all of the people in the First Congressional District of Idaho which is the north half of the state.
Congressman Sali serves on the House Natural Resource and Oversight and Government Reform Committees and is the Republican Class President. The Congressman held a meeting at my farm where farmers were able to talk to him about agriculture issues. Dillon and I went back to Washington, D.C. to talk about agriculture and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
Congressman Sali also holds meetings throughout Idaho to hear the concerns for the people that he is representing. From forest fires to education, Congressman Sali is working to make life better for everyone in Idaho.
He sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to have agriculture and forestry represented on a committee. The letter was signed by Senators Larry Craig, Mike Crapo, and Gordon Smith (OR) and Representatives Mike Simpson, and four others from around the country.
